The Maribyrnong River Pollination Corridor will link with other Rotary Clubs in Moonee Valley and with local environment groups. This corridor will provide a habitat and feeding source for insects, birds and native animals allowing for less than 50 metres between planting sites which is what is required.
Currently we have 3 separate planting areas including larger trees, smaller trees and shrubs, understorey and groundcovers all sourced from Victorian Indigenous Nursery Co-op. Plant selection is for local species and pollinator friendly to the area.

The next planting event will be in May 2022.  Funds have also been sourced to place seating in the area to allow walkers to enjoy the nature and the river.

   See how they have grown!
