After 18 months of planning and readjusting our timelines due to COVID, the 3rd Art Show is over!

What a wonderful celebration of community as we shared the creativity of artists across Australia - yes Australia, not just Victoria, with entries from New South Wales and South Australia as well as many from country Victoria.  The Art Show Committee members have contributed 1000's of hours each on the many planning, logistics and organisational tasks - a number which will magnify the work of Rotarians in our District.

Sincere thanks to our supportive sponsors.

Congratulations to the artists who received awards from our very experienced artist and judge Gwen Krummins:

The Gala evening was formally opened by Councillor Rohan Leppert from the City of Melbourne.  He was joined by Councillor Davyyd Griffith and Jennifer Kanis and Councillor Rose Iser from Moonee Valley Council.  A number of Rotarians from clubs across the District were present and also showed artworks.

Thanks to Harris Ryan and the women from Mumma's Kitchen who provided the catering and to our supported students from Mount Alexander College who assisted as wait staff.

Melanie Del Monaco Community Engagement Liaison from the City of Melbourne and Erin from Kensington Town Hall were magnificent in their support along with her team of helpers who made everything work so smoothly.  Thanks also to the artists who gave their time to provide workshops and walks on the weekend.

Funds raised from the raffle will be donated to our local charity, The Venny.
