The club was approached to assist with a garden rejuvenation and upgrade at Debney Meadows Primary School.
With a matching grant from the Rotary Foundation, a major renovation was completed over 3 months with
ongoing maintenance as part of the club's contribution to the community.
A planting program was devised with the assistance of Professor Hugh Stewart from Melbourne University and
Jacqui van Heerden of the Kensington Community enviro hub.

Students, staff and community members assisted Rotarians with the digging, soil and mulch replacement and planting.
A licensed plumber completed installation of irrigation hose and new taps to enable effective watering.
